ChemicalsUiPathInvoice handling and logistics management. As a leading chemical company that depends on accurate data, manual invoice processing and shipping documentation was quite prone to errors. Vendor invoices to accounts payable could be in images, PDFs, or — depending on the vendor — hastily handwritten documents. Employees in Clariant's Global Business Services (GBS) Center had to extract and doublecheck relevant data, but it was expensive and labor-intensive. Similarly, communicating about shipments and manually pushing updates made the process slow. Additionally, each vendor added unique complexities to the invoice process, including different languages and tax codes.Since Clariant deployed initial RPA pilot in a region that covered Germany Australia, Switzerland, and Belgium, it was able to automate most of the labour and cost intensive work. Employees don't have to enter invoice information because UiPath Robots automatically extract and input the relevant fields unless there are specific points to complete more complex invoices that require human intervention.Clariant2,500 invoices per month entirely done with UiPath Robots50% of invoices automated in the pilot region40,000 printouts per quarter saved
Financial ServicesUiPathInvoice ProcessingAs a fast-growing company, Sterlite wanted to scale up and streamline invoice processing while drastically improving accuracy with no incremental cost. Manually scaling up the company’s internal processes to support and sustain the growth would have resulted in hiring additional workforce and more cost to the company besides being prone to errors and inefficiencies.STL implemented two unattended UiPath Robots to automate the entire process. Once the verified invoice comes to the processing team, the first UiPath Robot takes over. The second Robot would automate the next few stages, including Optical Character Recognition (OCR), data increase, MIRO (Movement in, Receipt Out) and finally the processing of the invoice. UiPath Robots helped Sterlite increase accuracy and scale up invoice processing from 8/5 to 24/7 process. Sterlite has also automated multiple smaller processes such as the purchase order, customer's delivery status, shipment status of the product, and report on stock.STL6 Full-time Equivalent employees (FTE) re-purposed and given back to business3 processes automated2 Robots
Professional ServicesUiPathOrder-to-cash workflowGlobal call center units and order-to-cash workflows at Xerox were flooded with requests, requiring too much time to manually execute for each customer call and invoice. Billing system data needed to be cross-referenced against invoices and purchase orders to check for errors.Xerox deployed UiPath Robots that could automate back-end call center processes, reducing the amount of “swivel work” required for agents to respond to and address customer concerns. Xerox was also able to achieve end-to-end automation with some order-to-cash processes, completely removing the need for human intervention to execute those tasksXerox100 Robots running automated business processes60 processes automated across the organizationtasks that were automated from end-to-end generated 40% to 50% productivity gains
